Kids at Walnut Creek Windsor Heights

Kids' Classes

We want to provide your child a safe, fun, Christ-centered place to learn and grow during our weekend services. Each of our services begins with a few worship songs. Bring your child with you to the beginning of the service and then after opening music, we’ll dismiss kids and give you time to take your child to our Kids' Center. Signage will guide you to where you’ll check-in your child. We offer classes for children 3 years old through 5th grade.

Nursery

If you have a child who is 2 years old or younger, you can check them into our nursery. Our volunteers are all well-trained regular attenders of Walnut Creek who have passed a background check. In the nursery there is a changing table, a private restroom, diaper bag storage, diapers, wipes, and pretty much anything else you could need for your little one. If you have any questions, simply ask to speak to a nursery supervisor.

Check-in & Safety

For the safety of your child and your own peace of mind, we use a child check-in system for our nursery and Kids Classes. There will be a volunteer standing near the check-in stations to assist you if you have questions. Our check-in system will print a name tag sticker for your child and you’ll receive a unique security label that you’ll need to pick up your child after the service has concluded.

Nursing Moms / Cry Room

Congrats on the new baby! We understand that taking an infant to church can be a challenge, and we want to make it as easy as possible. We have a quiet room located in the hallway right outside the sanctuary where you can watch a live video of the service while you feed or comfort your child. You’ll find a variety of seating options and a changing table.

Health Policy

To ensure the health of every child in our nursery, we ask that you keep your child with you during the service if you suspect them to have a serious communicable illness or disease.

A few things to consider:

  1. Have they had a fever in the past 24 hours?
  2. Have they vomited or had diarrhea in the past 24 hours?
  3. Do they have a severe cold or cough?
  4. Do they have green or yellow mucus?
  5. Are there any unexplained rashes or inflammations of the skin?
  6. Is there any redness or discharge from the eyes?
